The M-8Lz is the illuminated power conditioner in the Merit Z Series, combining Furman's reliable surge protection with convenient rack visibility. It features two adjustable, pull-out light fixtures that illuminate your rack from above, making it easy to see equipment controls, patch points, and connections in low-light environments like studios and venues. Standard-level surge protection with a front-panel "Protection OK" indicator shields your gear from harmful voltage spikes, while AC noise filtration reduces RFI/EMI interference for cleaner, more stable power. The M-8Lz includes Furman Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) technology that continuously monitors incoming AC and automatically disconnects during dangerous over or under voltage events, protecting your connected equipment from power anomalies. A 15-amp rating with an integrated circuit breaker, nine rear outlets, fast-charging dual USB-C and USB-A ports and generous wall-wart spacing accommodate multiple rack-mounted devices without blocking adjacent outlets.
