The Furman RS-2 is a Momentary Contact Remote Control Panel designed for versatile power system control, especially in installations requiring activation from multiple locations. Identical in form to the RS-1 and fitting a standard single-gang switchbox, the RS-2 features a momentary "Start ON/OFF Sequence" pushbutton to toggle power, making it perfect for complex setups. Security is handled by a locking key switch that enables or disables the pushbutton function, while a "System On" LED provides instant status feedback. The RS-2 is compatible with a wide range of remote-capable Furman equipment, including the CN-1800S, CN-2400S, CN-15MP, CN-20MP, ASD-120 2.0 M-8S and CN-3600SE as well as many legacy furman sequencers offering a flexible control solution for any sequenced system. Description

The panel can be easily installed in a single gang switchbox with a minimum depth of 1.5”. Features include a locking key switch and a ”System On” indicator LED. The RS-2 includes a momentary ‘Start ON/OFF Sequence’ push-button. The rear of the panel has a circuit board with a full size barrier strip for field wiring connections.

 

The RS-2 can be used to control the Furman ASD-120 Sequenced Power Distributor, the Power Link, Power Port, Remote AC Controller, the MiniPort Power Relay series, or the PS-8R, PS-8R II or PS-PRO II Power Sequencers, as well as other equipment that needs a switch contact at a remote location.
